Start with 25 new cards per day. Begin with the Anamnese sub-deck (themes 1-9) since history-taking is the most interactive part of the exam. This gives you the phrases you need to open a conversation, ask about symptoms, and take a full patient history.

Reduce new cards to 15 per day and increase review time. Focus on the Arztbrief templates (themes 10-14) and doctor-to-doctor handover phrases (themes 15-19). Start drilling Fachsprache/Laiensprache pairs daily.

Start with the Anamnese sub-deck. History-taking is the most interactive and unpredictable part of the exam. You need to ask open-ended questions, understand patient responses, and document findings. The 357 Anamnese entries cover the exact phrases and structures examiners expect.
B2 general German covers everyday conversation. The FSP tests clinical register, specifically the ability to use Fachsprache with colleagues and Laiensprache with patients. These are two different vocabularies that B2 courses do not cover. The gap between B2 conversational German and FSP-level clinical German is exactly what this deck addresses.
Each pair card shows the medical term (Fachsprache) on one side and the patient-friendly equivalent (Laiensprache) on the other. For example: Myokardinfarkt (what you say to a colleague) paired with Herzinfarkt (what you say to a patient). 370 pairs across multiple body systems.
Yes. A large proportion of FSP candidates are Arabic-speaking physicians. The Arabic toggle adds an Arabic equivalent to every card, so you see the German term, its English translation, and the Arabic equivalent together. You can show or hide the Arabic layer using the card template settings in Anki.
The Kenntnisprüfung tests medical knowledge in German, while the FSP tests medical language proficiency. There is significant vocabulary overlap, especially in the Fachsprache/Laiensprache pairs and the clinical communication sub-decks. Most doctors preparing for the Kenntnisprüfung find the Arzt-Arzt and Fach/Laien sub-decks directly applicable.
